DOCUMENT PREPARATION
Our Escrow Department prepares residential loan closing packages for approved attorneys
and agents of MVTIC. The loan package can be prepared
and delivered to attorneys in the Jackson metro area the
same day or delivered by overnight services outside of the metro area.
Loan packages must be turned into our office by noon in order to be
delivered by overnight service.

ESCROW AGENT
MVTIC's Escrow Services includes acting as Escrow Agent to hold, invest and distribute
earnest Money, Settlement Funds, Indemnity Funds and other such funds
or documents on behalf of the parties to the transaction.
When MVTIC is to serve as Escrow Agent, an escrow agreement must be approved
and executed by all parties.
In instances where MVTIC is required by agreement to invest the escrowed funds, a properly executed W-9 must be
furnished to MVTIC.
Since only "good funds" can be invested, checks or drafts must clear the account before being invested.
